Outstanding Student Award
Recognised with the Outstanding Student Award in 2021 for consistent academic performance and active engagement across coursework and projects during my BEng in Software Engineering.
I design and build data-driven systems end-to-end: from databases and APIs to machine learning pipelines and dashboards that support real decisions.
I grew up in Bangladesh, where education is strongly linked to resilience and hard work. After completing SSC (Secondary School) and HSC (Higher Secondary School), in 2018, I started an Software Engineering journey in China. When COVID-19 disrupted everything, I pivoted to an online BEng in Software Engineering from 2020 to 2022 instead of stopping.
Professionally, I worked in production and industrial engineering roles where I coordinated multiple departments like sample, admin and production as a senior executive, and managed communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders across several international companies in Bangladesh.
However, I chose data science because it blends structured thinking, coding, and impact. It lets me go from raw data and messy requirements to models, dashboards, and decisions that actually help people.
Recently, I have completed my MSc in Data Science at the University of Chester in the UK. Alongside coursework, I build projects that look like real products rather than one off assignments – projects that can stand up in a viva or in a real meeting.

Ran as a candidate for Students’ Union President, building a manifesto focused on student support, wellbeing, and data-informed improvements to services and communication across campus.
Awards from school, government competitions, and international bodies that encouraged my creativity:
Recognised in the government Creative Talent Hunt Competition for performance in Bangla language and literature.
Awarded 1st position in the arts category of the National Children’s Award Competition 2009, for drawing and painting using watercolour and pencil sketch.
Awarded 1st position in a themed watercolour painting competition on “Friendship between India and Bangladesh”, organised by the High Commission of India in Dhaka.
A quick overview of who I am, where I come from, and what I bring beyond technical skills.
I’m actively exploring opportunities where I can combine data science, software engineering, and domain knowledge to build impactful solutions.
Technical skills across programming, supervised and unsupervised learning, interpretation, visualisation, NLP, and data handling.
Selected industry and academic credentials that complement my formal degrees and hands-on project work.
End-to-end analyst workflow using Python, SQL, and Excel: cleaning, exploration, dashboarding, and communicating findings with IBM tools and real datasets.

Starting from my current MSc in Data Science and moving backwards to SSC, including key modules and outcomes.
The combination of Software Engineering and Data Science allows me to design both the model and the system around it — from database and APIs through to deployment and dashboards that non-technical stakeholders can use.
Roles where I combined technical skills, documentation, and cross-cultural communication before focusing on full-time data science.
